3 Easy Salsa Dips That Will Blow Your Mind

We have said it before, and we will say it again; salsa is pretty much one of the most versatile condiments ever! Everyone loves the traditional chip and salsa combo, but we wanted to give you a few dip recipes that break away from tradition. These dips are great for football parties, tailgating, and holiday parties!

1. Colby and Pepper Jack Cheese Dip

The best part about making your own cheese dip is that you can control the level of heat. Traditional queso is always a crowd hit, but we think that using colby and pepper jack cheese give this dip something special. We were inspired by this recipe on myrecipies.com. If you want to make this dip a little heartier add black beans or chicken.

Ingredients

1 8 oz. package of cream cheese

1/3 cup of sour cream

1/3 cup of plain greek yogurt

1/3 cup of mayonnaise

1/2 cup of Medium Sweet Kickin Salsa

1 1/2 cups of shredded colby jack cheese

1/2 cup of shredded pepper jack cheese

4 green onions chopped

Fresh cilantro to taste

Prep

Combine all ingredients and bake in a lightly greased pan at 350ยบ F for 30 minutes.

2. Creamy Cowboy Caviar

There are a ton of variations of this southwestern staple, and some recipes are more complicated than others. But this easy five-minute creamy cowboy caviar is easy to make a great for anyone on a budget.

Ingredients

3 11 oz. cans of large kernel corn

1 11 oz. can of black beans (drained)

3/4 cup of Sweet Kickin Salsa (mild, medium, or spicy habanero)

2 cups of cheddar cheese

1 8 oz. container of sour cream or plain greek yogurt

3/4 cup of mayonnaise

1/2 packet of low-sodium taco seasoning

6 green onions chopped

Prep

Combine all ingredients and chill for at least 3 hours, the longer you chill your creamy cowboy caviar, the better it tastes! Our inspiration for this recipe came from geniuskitchen.com.

Sweet Kickin 7 Layer Dip

Chances are you have probably had 7 layer dip at some point, but have you ever had Sweet Kickin 7 layer dip? Our sweet and spicy salsa takes traditional 7 layer dip to a whole new level. Here is our recipe.

Ingredients

1 16 oz. can of refried beans

1 cup of guacamole (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup of sour cream

1 cup of Sweet Kickin Salsa

1 cup of lettuce

1 1/2 cups of Mexican cheese blend

Black olives (optional)

Prep

In a bowl or large glass pan layer ingredients in this order: refried beans, guacamole, salsa, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, and olives. People always love a good 7 layer dip so feel free to double the recipe for large get-togethers.
